Department of Health Sciences is a department with more than 30 years’ history in KhoyUMS. The department mission is to educate skillful and knowledgeable students and prepare them to professional work or graduate level education.
The department presents the following two majors:
1-Environmental Health engineering
Environmental health engineering aimed at training students with enough skills to solve problems in fields of Environmental Health such as water supply, water refinery, wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, air pollution, waste collection, waste disposal, etc.
2-Public Health
Public health students learn to deal with various health- threatening situations to promote health and well-being individually and in their community. This course equips students with tools and methods of critical thinking and other skills to analyze and deal with health issues such as community health management, vaccination, health education and promotion, controlling disease and improving community resilience in emergencies.
